Bleach

Kristian: I'm sure you have seen or heard of bleach but if not here is my overview of this fantastic anime with 366 aired episodes, 484 manga  and 4 full length movies. We are still waiting for the new TV debuts but haven't heard anything quite yet. Regardless, this infamous anime is the story of a substitute soul reaper named Ichigo Kurosaki who inherits the soul reaper power from a soul reaper named Rukia Kuichiki. He becomes friends with her and the Soul Society. One of my personal favorite animes and i really do hope they come out with more episodes. Just go watch it if you enjoy the other animes in our blog.

Black Blood Brothers

Sara: Another short anime that we were both hoping was longer. It was exciting and humorous from the start. The main character Jiro is one of the oldest vampires. He travels around with his "brother",  Kotaro to a place called The Special Zone which is a place vampires can be safe and live along side each other and away from the Kowloon Children. The Kowloon Children are vampires that infect humans and vampires with just one bite and are known more as parasites to normal vampires. Every episode seemed to tell more and more about Jiro's past and his purpose in life. The brothers travel with a human compromiser who works for The Order Coffin Company named Mimiko. Her job is to mediate the relationship between humans and vampires. Later on in the anime, she becomes much more than just that. The anime honestly looks like it should have had a season 2 but we did a little research and it turns out that the company that Black Blood Brothers was on had gone bankrupt. It does truly suck but it did have an ending so it wasn't like they stopped it mid way. Pretty much, it was an addicting anime.

Kristian: Black Blood Brothers consist of 12 episodes. Short, but a very good anime none the less i was definitely entertained all the way through til' the end. Like Sara said, the main character Jiro, an old blood, and his brother who is the reincarnation of the woman who turned Jiro into a vampire, are the last of their blood line. They travel to The Special Zone but Jiro's infamy as the "Silver Swordsman" provide nothing but complications for the brothers. For an older anime, the fight animation and just the drawings were pretty good. We do recommend the dubbed version for this anime and actually we had some trouble finding a subbed version so we just watch it dubbed all the way through.
 Its a must see in my book.

The Mystic Archives of Dantalian

Kristian: This anime was a short one, as in we didn't care to finish it all the way through. There are 13 episodes and we couldn't find anything dubbed. The story just didn't grab my attention too much. It was like the anime was missing action. It had too much talking and needed a bit more background reference as to what is going on. As far as i can tell it was a poorly, half-assed made anime.

Sara: So we had three episodes left in this anime and we kept saying we were going to finish it but... we didn't.  It honestly wasn't that bad but the only character that made the anime good was the main one, Dalian. A girl with the power to fix the things that go wrong when other people mess with magical books. She was a bit stuck up yet cute. She was a smart mouth with a love for books and sweets. She was always easily swayed by scones. Hugh Anthony Disward, the boy who looks after her now that his grandfather is deceased, likes her despite the rudeness and demanding attitude that Dalian shows him. The downside to this anime is that we didn't really understand much of it and the first two episodes have boring reading scenes that have nothing to do with the actual anime. I didn't hate the anime. It was cute. Just a tiny bit boring. But, it could have been great if there were some things changed.

Deadman Wonderland

Sara: A newer anime with great animation and a great story. So the story starts off with a boy named Ganta who is falsely accused of brutally killing all of his classmates. He is sent to a high security prison that also doubles as an amusement park known as Deadman Wonderland. The first few episodes honestly make you scared for Ganta since hes only a kid and the series starts off really brutal. There really never was a dull moment in this anime. Since its a newer anime, it appears to not be finished. The news on this is that the creator is currently pregnant so there will most likely be a season 2 but its currently unknown. 

Kristian: Sara brought me on to this anime after watching it on adult swim, and ive been hooked ever since. Definetly has an outrageous story to it using prison inmates as amusement park performers performing life endearing stunts and not because their forced too, but because they have too, they wear a collar around their neck and if they dont consume candy within 3 days of their last peice a poison  gets released throughout their bodies, on top of that the main character ganta is within special confines of the prison being used in an event that exhibits their "Branch of Sin" a special ability that allows them to manipulate blood. A+ anime in my book i cannot wait and hope season 2 comes out, and soon!

The Book Of Bantorra

Sara: So this has to be one of the best animes we've watched. Every episode got more and more exciting. The story and characters were so crazy and well thought out. My favorite character happened to be the main character Hamyuts Meseta. She was an impressive character who seemed to be the biggest mystery in the entire series. Strong and confident, at time I couldn't figure out whether she was good or bad. The last for episodes had both of us on the edge of our seats. Its not too long of an anime so its a good one to watch if you aren't into the really long animes. I definitely recommend this anime. It was so good, I'm actually pretty sad its over.

Kristian: This anime definitely left me wanting more the story although somewhat difficult to understand whats exactly happening in the beginning pans out pretty well and cover most, if not all questions. The fight scenes where gorgeous and Hamyuts Meseta was as sadistic as she was mysterious. Basically the armed librarians who fought against The Govenor of Paradise in control of The Church of Drowning In God's Grace for centuries over a mystical entity called Heaven and the story takes you through these hardships of the armed librarians.My favorite character happened to be young Ireia Kitty.
